MUD PUMPS SPARES

A mud pump (sometimes referred to as a mud drilling pump or drilling mud pump), is a reciprocating piston/plunger pump designed to circulate drilling fluid under high pressure (up to 7,500 psi (52,000 kPa)) down the drill string and back up the annulus.

Steel Liners & Ceramic Liners

Steel liners are made of with forged steel outer shell, a scraping and corrosion resistance of a high chromium (Cr) iron inner sleeve. The dimensional precision should be strictly controlled in the production process, which can ensure they are easy and steady to install.

With high finish and high hardness the inner sleeve has good character of wear resistance, corrosion-proof and long lasting life. This product is suitable for all kinds of poor working conditions. Its typical life is more than 800 hours.

Piston Assembly

Piston assembly consists of a piston, piston rings and piston pin known as gudgeon pin. Functions of piston assembly are given below:

It transmits gas force generated during combustion to the connecting rod and crankshaft.

As piston is connected to small end of the connecting rod with the help of gudgeon pin. It guides the connecting rod when gas force is transmitted.

Valves & Seats

Our valves and seats are designed for maximum performance and reliability. Our full-open, bonded design provides optimal flow efficiency and maximum sealing. Featuring a proprietary urethane blend, our P-4 and P-5 valve is a field-proven performer in temperatures up to 250°F.

In field tests across multiple harsh environments, our valves and seats lasted an average of 42% longer than the closest competition.

The seats are made from a low-carbon alloy steel and are heat treated with a superior carburizing process. This provides a very hard, wear-resistant surface and a tough interior to withstand the repeated impacts that occur during operation. Each component’s geometric profile and sealing surface have been optimized for a precision fit.

Discharge & Suction Module

The L-shaped two-piece fluid-end was adopted into the market over 35 years ago because it was an obvious improvement over one piece modules.

Since the suction module is separate from the discharge module, it is possible to replace the suction module when it wears out instead of replacing the entire fluid end. Changing valves or seats on a two piece module is also much easier, safer and faster than changing valves or seats on a one piece module.

Our L-shaped fluid-end is manufactured from heat-treated 4130 forgings and equipped with our quick-change valve cover system; our L-shaped modules offer unmatched performance.
